First we listen. Every company is unique, with its own challenges and dynamics. During the intake, the current way of working and the organizational context in which results must be achieved are examined.
Bluelakes offers customized solutions and best-practices for strategy development and convert it into company-specific practice.
Together we create options. We look for answers to the following questions: ‘What should we do?’ and ‘What should we be good at?’ The answers are the ‘value drivers’ for your sustainability approach.
Working methods
Bluelakes uses a mix of Lean startup and Design Thinking methods. An Agile way of working is used to achieve immediate results and to maintain flexible. The composition of a (multi-disciplinary) project team will be examined. Progress is demonstrated in short 3-week cycles and recalibrated based on input from key stakeholders. The result? No bulky reports but a concrete step-by-step approach that the team can start with today. In this way Bluelakes and your team guarantees the progress of these value drivers (as steering KPI’s) and creates grip on performance.
Bluelakes, the brand
‘Crystal clear waters between large mountains. Rippling streams of melt water, rain showers and springs. Mountains that beg to be climbed. The higher you go, the wider the view providing new insights. New routes are being discovered.’
Bluelakes is a reference to the founder’s Dutch surname and a derivative of Kim & Maborgne’s worldwide bestseller Blue Ocean Strategy. The core of Bluelakes is value change; creating value where others have not yet found it.
Where the ‘Blue Ocean Strategy’ is based on tapping into new oceans, Bluelakes chooses to grow naturally from raindrops or snowflakes via streams and rivers to mountain lakes. From there you flow into seas and oceans. It symbolizes a sustainable growth route where many small changes lead to new and unique propositions.
The logo symbolizes mountains that offer opportunities during an ascent, in search of a new source. The result is a mountain lake, with different kinds of dept. The positioning of the mountains corresponds to ‘M’, the first letter of the founder’s last name. The three mountains stand for ESG, Enviromental, Social and Governance as it defines the operating space of Bluelakes.
